Forest BU14 Finalist at Surf Cup

Congratulations to Coach Erik Andersen's Forest BU14 team for a stellar showing at Surf Cup over Thanksgiving weekend. The boys were undefeated in bracket play, beating Crossfire 93 (1-0), La Roca Premier (2-1) and West Coast FC (2-1). They played a tough semi final game against San Juan Lightning 94 and advanced to the finals with a 1-0 win.
The Forest boys found themselves down 0-2 at halftime against the Sereno 94 White team from Arizona. They evened the score in the 2nd half and played 0-0 through two overtime periods before Sereno pulled out the win in penalty kicks.
