The Forest GU-16 Black team stayed true to form going unbeaten, winning Carlsbad Cup 2008 against the host Lightning Red 2-0. Strong defense allowed only 3 goals in 5 games and three shut-outs including the final. A potent offense out scored their opponents 3 goals for every 1 goal let in, with a total of 10 goals for to 3 allowed. This made for a great team effort, rewarded with a deserved championship! Great Job Girls!
Forest GU-16 would like to thank coaches Marcelo Arman and Fred Goossens for their assistance in the girls wins in group play against the Lightning come back 2-1 and Matrix 3-2. Thanks Coaches.
