With Eric Carlson as thier Coach, Forrest Boys 99 already had a pretty good chance of becoming champions. The boys battled some tough teams in order to get to the semi-finals. Allowing only one goal throught the whole competition, Forrest Boys 99 came out on top with a perfect record, 5 -0. Arsenal put up a good fight in the semifinal game, with the game ending 3-0, Notts Forest moved on to the finals. Already having played Manchester White in tournament play, the boys knew that they had a difficult match ahead of them. The stage is set, both teams are marched out on to the field, and 16 players are ready to battle for 1st place. After a scoreless first half, both teams are ready to give it there all in the second half. Aleks R. broke the scoreless tie early in the second half, and Max C. put it away near the end of regular time. Final Score: Nott’s Forest 2, Manchester White 0. Good Job Boys!!! Go Nott’s
